THIS instruction created by FVN Alliance Inc. Technical Department to configured phone adapter SPA2102 with current internet service provider (ISP) connection credentials.
Normally, when you order home phone from our sales team, you will receive fully pre-configured phone adapter and can start to use connecting to your router and power it on.
If you already have old phone adapter SPA2102, or buy your own in the internet - you can configured it to work with our phone network using instructions -> connect phone adapter
Phone Line service includes:
- CallerID
- Name Display
- Call Waiting / Visual Call Waiting
- Call Forwarding
- Personal Voice Mail / Voicemail to email
- extensions w call transfer and group calls
- Auto Attendant support
- Follow Me with time schedule (Line->Cell->Voicemail)
Internet Service requirements:
- High-Speed connection 1 Mbps or more
- IP QoS control (no traffic limitations)
- Preferable – Static Public IP
Recommended phones:
You can use any standard analog two-wires phone with our Cisco-Linksys SPA2102 adapter. For home offices we recommend professional office phones (Nortel Vista 350/390) with powerful screens and professional headsets from Platonic and cordless solutions for small offices like Panasonic's new DECT 6.0 cordless phones.

SPA2102 activation instruction – step by step:

- Connect your PC directly to the router and check for internet availability on your computer.
- Check that all cables disconnected from the phone adapter!
- Connect the Ethernet (blue) port on the adapter to any LAN port on your internet router using a network cable.

- You can use the PC port (yellow) on the phone adapter to connect your PC or network printer by wire.

- Connect any regular phone to PORT 1 on your phone adapter.

- Power up your phone adapter.

- On your phone adapter, the LED lights for POWER and NETWORK should be on.
- At this point, leave your adapter on; activation may take up to 60 minutes. Your phone will be ready to use when light PHONE1 is green. If you bought two lines then PHONE2 light (if connected to a phone) will be green as well.

- From your PC open web page 192.168.xxx.yyy
Username user
Password FVNclient

- Type your ISP login, password and click to “Submit all Changes” button.
